Biweekly Time Card Calculator
Add two separate workweeks. Overtime is calculated for each week, not by treating 80 hours as one threshold.
Calculator inputs and results
Enter two workweeks
Enter one day per line. Use 9am-5pm or 09:00-17:00, and separate paid periods with a comma. Weekly overtime is calculated separately for each week.
12am is midnight and 12pm is noon. Do not mix formats such as 17:00pm. An end time earlier than the start time is treated as next day.

Clear results
Why check each workweek separately
Weekly threshold stays weekly
This biweekly time card calculator treats Week 1 and Week 2 as separate workweeks. A 45-hour week can show five overtime hours even when the other week is shorter.
Two clear pay summaries
Review regular minutes, overtime minutes, total hours, and estimated gross pay for each week before looking at the combined two-week total.
Useful records, without an account
The two-week tool can copy a summary, print the result, and export CSV from the browser. It does not create a payroll record or send a claim to an employer.
Made for real questions
When a two-week view helps
Alternating schedules
Use separate weeks when one week includes a weekend shift, training day, or a different pattern of unpaid breaks.
Pay-period review
Use the biweekly time card calculator before comparing your own notes with a two-week pay stub. The result is an estimate of gross pay before deductions.
Overtime spot check
Enter five 9-hour paid days in each week. The result should show 40 regular hours and 5 overtime hours for each week at a 40-hour threshold.
How to use this calculator
Enter your own numbers, review the result, and use it as a clear gross-pay or time estimate. Important payroll, tax, and employment decisions should be confirmed with your employer or an appropriate professional.
Formula and assumptions
Each week: overtime = hours above your weekly threshold. The two weekly totals are then combined.
All money results are estimated gross pay before taxes and deductions. Time calculations use integer minutes before display rounding.
Worked example
Two 45-hour weeks contain 10 overtime hours total: five in each week.
What to expect
What this two-week tool shows
Week 1 and Week 2 inputs
Each week has its own entry area, so a workday is not split by a guessed number of rows.
Adjustable rate and multiplier
Set the hourly rate, weekly threshold, and overtime multiplier to match the assumption you want to review.
Exportable detail
CSV includes the weekly regular and overtime values used in the visible summary.
Start with paid time
Enter one workday per line for Week 1, then enter Week 2 separately. Include unpaid breaks in the shift entry so paid time is not overstated. A line the parser cannot understand is not included in the total.
For a simple check, a 9 AM to 5 PM shift with a 30-minute unpaid break is 7 hours 30 minutes of paid time. The biweekly time card calculator adds valid daily minutes before applying the weekly rule.
Read overtime by week
At a 40-hour weekly threshold, the basic calculation is weekly overtime = paid weekly hours minus 40 hours, when the result is positive. The calculator performs that step once for each workweek.
Do not assume that 80 hours across a pay period always means zero overtime. Two 45-hour weeks contain 10 overtime hours under this weekly example. Confirm actual payroll rules with the employer or a qualified adviser.
A two-week checking routine
Before using a two-week tool, write down the start, end, and unpaid break for every workday. Keep Week 1 and Week 2 separate even when the pay period contains only ten workdays. A missing day is different from a zero-hour day. Review the Week 1 result first, then review Week 2, then compare the combined gross estimate with your own notes.
A useful cross-check is to add paid daily minutes for one week and divide by 60. If five days each contain nine paid hours, the weekly total is 45 hours. At a 40-hour threshold, that week has five overtime hours. Repeat the same check for the second week instead of subtracting 40 from the whole pay period.
